During my Mitacs Globalink Research Internship at UBC Okanagan, I contributed to two research projects (ElbowUp and Proximate), working across workshop data analysis, interaction prototyping, experimental system development, and user-study execution. I also took part in workshops and user studies across several other projects, which helped me build a broader understanding of HCI research.

Investigated hand-gesture tracking and recognition with a monocular camera, improved detection accuracy through algorithmic refinement, and evaluated multiple filters to reduce processing latency while maintaining tracking stability.
